How much does membership / training cost?

Whilst training at Stafford Rugby Club, training is free for Stafford RFC members. Other can pay £3 on the night. There are no membership costs. Each training session costs £4 and is payable on the night.

I already play for another team, can I also play / train with you?

Yes, every member of our team has a local "home" club.

Stormers is not in competion with local clubs playing in local leagues. Our team has been created to aid players that want to take the next step, to play in the national NTS competitions, or aim for regional or national squad selection. We welcome everyone that wants to improve their skills and spread their knowledge to their home clubs.

We have an ambition to compete in the NTS each each, and gain promotion to play in divisions 1/2.

What ages can train and play?

All players aged 14+ are welcome.

Occasionally younger players are invited that have good playing experience (for example regional Wildcats or national HP squads) and a need to train at a higher level than offered at their local club.
